General Description: The river starts as a typical alpine stream, flowing through alpine heath, until the first waterfall is encountered, just above the Cradle Mountain Road bridge. Below the bridge are 4 substantial waterfalls, only the first 2 (Pencil Pine and Knyvet Falls) having been paddled and several other portages are necessary before the Dove confluence. |
