Entry Point: (E:340500, N:5442200) Either the Tayatea Bridge on the Rapid River Road.
Exit Point: Leave car at end by taking the Lake Chisholm road off the main road going past Julius Reserve and then turn right at Sumac 4. Go along for about 10 min to park car (E: 340500, N:5445800). This exit point is about 500 m down from the junction with the Arthur River. However, be sure to go down to the river to see what the get out looks like.

General Description: Below the bridge the river flattens out and widens with many small limestone cliffs before joining the Arthur River. The river is characterised by moving water, beware of submerged logs.
